Globe holds annual conferences and forums as well as occasional workshops, lectures, seminars and venues which focus on important issues of common interest to foster an atmosphere for the exchange of research expertise inside our country and abroad, with a view to furthering research and publishing outcomes. Topics are announced well in advance of each event to allow all those who wish to attend to register. Some highly specialized events are by invitation only. Below is a list of past, current and upcoming Globe events.

Conferences and Seminars

Conference and Seminars are organized by Globe, in collaboration with Universities, national and foreign research partners and with the participation of international experts. Globe’s goal is to establish a quasi-structural platform of debate on Middle Eastern geopolitical and geo-economic key issues. International contributors to the Journal of Middle Eastern Geopolitics are regularly invited, as well as experts and researchers coming from the academic, public and industrial sectors, to present their analyses and views.

Roundtables

Globe is committed to organizing regular round tables to discuss selected issues. The intention of the round tables is to provide an arena in which experts and researchers from the academic, public, and industrial sectors can present their analyses and views. This allows information to be disseminated to a wide audience, particularly to people who have interest in and can have an impact on the specific issues under study. Detailed summaries of Globe Round Tables are available for purchase in the Book Section.

Globe meetings
Globe organizes informal monthly meetings directed to a small audience (10-15 people). Venues are based on a single seminar offered by a governmental, or non-governmental, reputed expert from the academic, public or private sectors, whose contribution deepens the current debate on international relations and geo-economic relevance. A valuable outcome of the meeting consists in consolidating an informal network of young researchers.
